Giannina Dwin
Giannina Dwin Is a multidisciplinary artist who works on installations, sculpture, ceramics, photography, and performance. Her work has been included in national and international exhibitions at important venues as part of solo and group shows in the United States, Spain, France, Brazil, Ecuador and Italy among others. Dwin has won prestigious awards as well as grants for international research and has been invited to art residencies in Spain, Argentina, Brazil and the US. She holds an MFA Fine Arts degree and is also a curator of significant exhibitions in venues at Miami, West Palm Beach, Delray Beach to name a few. Dwin has completed several Public Art projects in the US. She lives and works in South Florida.
A World in My Hand

This sculptural work that resembles a hand holding a sprouted seed pod is a homage to rebirth and renewal. The inclusion of a human body form alludes to the fact that in the Anthropocene era, in which we are now, humans are responsible for the climate changes to the planet, but it is also in our hands to work towards preservation and restoration.
